Accounts Payable and Receivable for Wholesale Insurance Company
Dallas, TX - Full Time
We are seeking an accounts payable and receivable individual within our Dallas accounting office. This will be a contract position for six months with the hourly rate of $22-$25 per hour working an 8-5 schedule. The successful candidate understands the importance of personal responsibility and resourcefulness while demonstrating the following:

- Ability to prioritize tasks so that work is done quickly and at the highest quality
- Owning processes/tasks/issues from start to finish

- A self-starter that demonstrates a high level of initiative and can confidently manage their time and workload
- Creates trust through transparent practices such as sharing information and honest communication
- Being definite and decisive, but not inflexible
Accounts Payable
- Reconcile invoices and statements and resolve discrepancies
- Schedule and process payments to Carrier, Agents, Vendors
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely payments
- Accounts Receivable:
- Properly post all checks received from agents and applied to the proper invoices
- Reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies;
- Prepare aging reports and analyze trends in receivable
